Middle School
The Middle School also emphasizes the development of essential life skills such as communication, collaboration, and resilience, preparing students for the challenges they may face in their academic and personal lives. Classes VI-VIII
The for Classes VI-VIII provides a holistic educational experience, focusing on foundational knowledge across various subjects including Mathematics, Science, Language Arts, and Social Studies. It aims to instill a deep understanding of core concepts while nurturing critical thinking and analytical skills essential for higher learning. Additionally, the curriculum integrates practical applications, hands-on experiments, and project-based learning to engage students actively in their education and foster creativity and innovation. Moreover, it emphasizes character development, ethical values, and social responsibility, preparing students to become well-rounded individuals capable of contributing positively to society.
The main subjects taught are English, Mathematics, Hindi, German, Sanskrit, French, Social Studies, General Knowledge, Computer Science, Art, Yoga, Music, Dance, Vocal and Instrumental Music, Pottery, and Physical Education.
There are two terms in one academic session:
Term 1 Assessment Structure:
Term 1 assessment consists of Periodic Test-I and Internal Assessment-I, followed by the Term I Examination. Periodic Test-I provides ongoing feedback on students’ understanding of the curriculum, while Internal Assessment-I evaluates their performance in various activities and projects. The Term I Examination assesses students’ overall comprehension and mastery of the material covered during this period.
Term 2 Assessment Structure:
In Term 2, the assessment framework comprises Periodic Test-II and Internal Assessment-II, leading up to the Term II Examination. Periodic Test-II serves as a checkpoint for students’ progress midway through the academic session, supplemented by Internal Assessment-II, which evaluates their performance in additional tasks and assignments. The Term II Examination evaluates students’ learning outcomes and achievement at the end of the academic year.
