TEACHING METHODOLOGY
Teachers need to engage students in the learning process. Choosing a methodology that addresses the needs of diverse students at different learning levels begins with identifying the learning methods of students. Our Academic Annual Plans and Classroom Session Plans depend on the learning outcomes advocated by the National Curriculum Framework NCF. As the learning outcomes change by subject and grade, we adopt methods that cater to specific student groups. An additional variation that we bring to the table is our capability to adopt and adapt to the different student learning methods i.e. Auditory, Kinesthetic, and Visual.
Our Teaching Methods Include:
Inquiry-based learning: Facilitators emphasize a strong student-teacher relationship. The student’s role in the learning process is emphasized. Rather than the teacher telling students what they need to know, students are encouraged to explore the material, ask questions, and share ideas.
Personal learning: Aims to customize learning for each student’s strengths, needs, skills, and interests. Each student gets a learning plan that’s based on what he knows and how he learns best.

Our Teaching Focus
In short, modern methods of teaching require different types of teachers — from the analyst/organizer to the negotiator/consultant. At Tatva we focus on the objective that every student learns and improves from whichever level he is at present and starts climbing the ladder of learning. The comparison is not between students themselves but between where they were before and where they are now. We push students to do their best – we don’t push them to beat records. Thus there is pressure to perform but students don’t fear failure.
